MPUA is seeking to hire an individual for the position of equipment operator/laborer in the water distribution and wastewater collection departments of Milan Public Utilities Authority. The duties of this role are to perform installation / maintenance / repairs of the water and wastewater systems. Operate light to heavy equipment, hand tools and power tools to complete tasks, as well as respond to emergency situations, such as water leaks and sewer stoppages. There is required on-call (stand-by) for night, weekend and holiday emergencies. Candidates shall also be able to obtain a class “A” commercial driver’s license.

This is position performs duties outdoors and must be able to work in all weather conditions, including but not limited to; extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and rain.
